Emergency care and protection for our 3 babies rescued from the East African sex trade

On March 14th 2021 our team in Nairobi responded to intelligence information regarding three children ages 2 years to 7 years who have been kidnapped and sold from the slums in Nairobi into the child sex trade. They were rescued with the help of the Child Protection Unit and were admitted to one of our preferred partner hospitals in the early hours of March 16th, in Nairobi, Kenya. The 2 and 5 year old girls are in a critical condition, and both underwent surgery for multiple rape injuries. The seven year old boy is suffering from severe emotional trauma and has signs of long term sexual and physical abuse, and appears to have been forced by gangs to lure the two baby girls into the arms of a child prostitution and kidnapping ring.

Police reporting OB Number:  71/14/03/2021

All three children are in the care of the GBV Trust, and depend on donations to make their long medical and psychiatric recovery possible. Upon discharge from their lengthy hospital admissions, all three children will be placed into our witness protection program as four members of the gang have been arrested and are in prison awaiting trial. Our Advocate Dr. John Khaminwa and his Associates are pursuing the case to seek justice.

Our work to break the cycle of abuse and end infant and child rape is only possible with donations and medical sponsors. Please support these babies so we can pay for their surgical bills, inpatient admissions, their psychiatric care, and all rehabilitation, safety and protection costs.

All donations in Australia, Kenya and East Africa are 100 % tax deductible through our 9 registered charities and NFP organisations.
