I have known Genevieve de la Reux and been donating regularly to her invaluable work for many years now. The abuse of local babies, toddlers and adolescent children that Genevieve has to confront and deal with on a weekly basis would surely make even the most experienced psychiatrists and doctors blanch.
I have known Genevieve for more than 10 years now with our relationship beginning in the professional financial services industry in Australia where Genevieve excelled. She was one of a kind and always delivered in terms of projects and commitments.
have known Gen for over 14 years. I first met her as a dedicated “horsey” in the Southern Highlands of NSW. I have watched Gen’s progress since and I’ve seen her dedication and focus in her corporate role; her applications to get into Post Grad Medicine and more recently her work in Kenya.
I have know Gen for almost 20 years. We attending the same high school and grew up in the same town. After school we lost contact for a few years as we went to different cities to study and work. Through social media we reconnected and I got to see the work Gen started to go with her charity when still based in Australia.
She gives back their childhood, loves, feeds and cares for them and even makes sure they get an solid and complete education.
I got to see first hand the amazing rehabilitation work that Genevieve and her team have done. The children I met were incredibly happy, healthy and and empowered. If it weren’t for the physical scars form their past that were visible, I would never have guessed that these children had endured unimaginable abuse.
