Who are we?
Launched in January 2015 in Buru Buru, Kenya, the GBV Charitable Trust and our projects have been providing emergency and long term care to over 1000 infants and children & over 250 women whom have suffered from extreme Sexual, Domestic and Gender Based Violence (SGBV & GBV).

Gender Based Violence
The GBV Charitable Trust was first established in January 2015, in Nairobi, Kenya and has taken in over 1045 infants and children whom have been subjected to rape, sex trafficking, child prostitution and vicious assaults. The Trust also provides long term assistance and sponsorship to women whom have succumbed to sexual, domestic and gender based violence (GBV).
Gender Based Violence

Domestic Violence
In 2017 – 2019, the GBV Trust conducted multiple surveys in the informal settlements and rural communities across 9 counties in Kenya. Over 67 % of all women admitted to being a current victim of domestic violence
Medical Conferences
In the year 2020 the Trust and our partner organisations plan to commence hosting conferences in Rural Kenya.
The primary goal of our conferences is to introduce medical professionals locally to international specialists and surgeons to create a mentor partnership between local and international communities.

Interested in becoming a child’s education sponsors? In order for our children to have long term safety and live without violence, it is imperative they receive a quality education.

Our GBV and Domestic Violence rehabilitation programs have identified the dire need for us to pursue further endeavours and programs to guarantee the cycle of rape, violence and abuse can be terminated.
Education & Mentorship
Countless seminars have been led by Genevieve across Kenya, and have provided education, skills, pathways to healing, counselling, and daily goal setting for women to undertake in order to improve their quality of life
The Environment
No plastic waste or packaging is accepted from supermarkets, or any goods or supplies purchased by the GBV Charitable Trust. Plastic packaging is strictly prohibited and where possible, we only purchased goods
Animal welfare
Ethical sourcing of materials, textiles and food is of paramount importance to the Trust. Our members are long life animal owners and farmers, whom are dedicated to animal welfare and humane food consumption practices.
